Food for Good Thought Vocational Support is a vocational rehabilitation and supported employment facility that works solely with individuals with autism. We are able to work with the full range of individuals on the autism spectru and provided job development, job training, and job supports to individuals with autism in the central Ohio area. We provide services in our on-site gluten-free bakery as well as in various off-site locations, and work extensively with persons served on developing a position for them that meets their interests and strengths.
Our community-based services for individuals living with autism entail job development, job training, and job support in a wide range of workplaces in the central Ohio community. Our facility-based site is an integrated gluten-free bakery. Persons served who are placed in our bakery for supported employment are paid at least minimum-wage rates.
Most individuals served are referred to us by the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation or through the Medicaid Waiver Program.
